HOLLAM CARE FOUNDATION ON-SITE FINAL MATHEMATICS COMPETITION 2020
Competition is one of the academic activities that helps in strengthening academic self concept, facilitating growth mindsets, Building mental toughness, innovative thinking and increasing intrinsic motivation. The length and breadth of knowledge that they gain through this is simply unparalleled.Hollam Care Foundation has set the benchmark for conducting activities in such a way that the students not only enjoyed but also learnt a great deal from it. In this regards the on-site mathematics competition organized today 27th of November for the ten(10) finalist drawn from the thirty six(36) students at the first stage of the competition started at exactly 10:am at Oba Adesanoye Civic Centre Ondo City, which all the ten(10) finalist were present and attendance was taken as follows:

3. *AKINBOBOLA MERCY – ST MONICA\’S GIRL\’S GRAMMAR SCHOOL ONDO*
4. *BETIKU AKINWANDE -ST STEPHEN GRAMMAR SCHOOL ONDO*
5. *ALAWIYE MARIAM – JUBILEE COMMUNITY GRAMMAR SCHOOL ONDO*
6. *AKINBANI KHAERAT – ST MONICA\’S GIRL\’S GRAMMAR SCHOOL ONDO*
7. *OSETADE TOLUWANI FAITH – ST LOUIS GIRL\’S SECONDARY SCHOOL ONDO*
8. *KOMOLAFE TAIWO – ST JOSEPH COLLEGE ONDO*
9. *AJAYI RAYMOND – ALL SAINT ANGLICAN GRAMMAR SCHOOL ONDO*
10. *FASAN OLUWAJENLASUN JOY – ST LOUIS GIRL\’S SECONDARY SCHOOL ONDO*
Thereafter, the coordinator; Mr Rasheed Akinbolaji addressed the student by congratulating them for being part of the finalist. He furthered by thanking the CEO of Hollam Care Foundation and other team members for their support and making it possible. He said the organization will put in their best to ensure good prizes are being giving out to the winners, and that letters will be addressed to the winners, as winners will be called out during this year Ekimogun Day Celebration i.e on the 5th December 2020. He also emphasized on the rules guiding the examination.Afterward, The facilitator; Mr Adeniyi Vincent also addressed the students and told them to put in their best in the exam as the marking scheme will be strict. The examination started immediately after the Facilitator speech.Thirty (30) objectives and 5 Theory was set for the students.(30 minutes for the objectives and 1hour: 30 minutes for the theory). During the course of the examination, the Zonal Education Officer Represented by Mrs Sanni visited the students and also applauded the organization for the good job well done. Also, the chairman ODC Local Organizing Committee Prince Adelakun visited the students.However, the examination ended successful, questions and answers script was collected, the facilitator commended all the participants for the good work and he also pointed out some corrections made by the students one after the other and profer solutions to it. After which the students one after the other appreciated Hollam Care Foundation for the opportunity and for bringing this competition to promote academic excellence in Ondo City which they also prayed for the development of the organization. Photographs was taken with the students and the team members. Also food items were served to the participants and teachers present and the whole activities ended successfully.
